Memphis Grizzles in the playoffs

Last night the Memphis Grizzles beat the Mavericks to take the 7th spot in the NBA playoffs. The Memphis Grizzles had a rough start to the year. The Grizzles had to beat the suns at first to even take a spot in the playoffs. The grizz won over the suns 91-97. The Grizz needed to win just about every game since Feb. to get a spot in the playoffs. Mike Conlee said  "We've played every game like a playoff game. It's been fun to be part of a group that comes in and stays focused and to get back in the playoffs. It's huge from where we started off this season." The grizzles were 10-15 after a loss to Dallas. The suns had lost several games and lost another to go home. In this game Memphis took the biggest lead 31-44 while Randolph converted a 3 point play into half time. The suns haven’t been in the playoffs in 2010 when they had Steve Nash. The suns are the fifth team in history to win 47 games and not make it into a spot to play in the playoffs. These type games that you have to fight for a spot are at times harder then to win a championship game. The Memphis Grizzles will take on the OKC thunder for the first game of the playoffs Saturday night. The game will be held at OKC then back to Memphis a after the 2^nd game. This will be an amazing first playoff game for these two teams.

Was the flood global or regional?

These two articles make me think harder than just thinking that God sent a flood to destroy earth. The Bilble eve says that he sent a flood but it never said if the flood was all over earth but he uses the word earth which makes me believe the flood covered the whole earth. If the flood did cover the earth then maybe God was upset with all the sin going on. I believe the earth was flooded because that is what i always have believed. I also believe it because of how powerful God is and what all he can do. For a Christians view point i would think we all would believe that the whole earth was flooded. For one of these people who is a christain and to agree with some points from a non christian does not need to happening because it could cause other christ believers to think it is ok to believe what non believers think. The flood was a global event and was reached to all corners of the earth. I am taking the side that agrees with the flood all over the earth. The reason i do not agree with the other that thinks it was only a region is because i do not think they have read the bible so they wouldnt know what it says about God flooding the earth.

If i was convinced by plagiarism i would be upset knowing i did wrong but i would accept what i have done and face the consequences. My parents would be mad at me for doing what i had done wrong and i would be grounded for what i have done. I believe we deserve a passing grade just because my parents have to pay for me to go here. Our is full of great education and preparing us fro college. Since they don't offer us a passing grade if we did fail i think we should try harder in our work and take more time to study so we will pass without even worrying if they should offer us a passing grade because my parents have to pay tuition for me to go here. This story opens my eyes more makes me realize that people do plagiarize and they always end up getting caught with it. I take away from this that you have to be honest and can't try and hide something that you think you can escape from. You always get caught no matter how hard yo try and hide it! 

Does Tiger Woods back still remain a question?

Last week in the Honda Classic Tiger Woods wasn't having the best round. Tiger had to withdraw late in Sundays round after the 13th hole due to back spasms. He has had treatment on his back everyday since Sunday. But other than his back he was able to get some practice in by hitting wedge shots but they were no further than only 60 yards. This week Tiger will play the Cadillac championship even though he says that his back will still remain a focus on this weeks tournament. Tiger Woods has won this tournament four times int he past years but after yesterdays round it's not looking to well. Even this year hasn't been a good start for Tiger after missing the cut at Torrey Pines, playing in a European event but he wasn't a factor in that tournament and now this week he isn't off to a great start. After yesterday Tiger finished the round at only being 2 over par which isn't like Tiger. He didn't make a single birdie putt through 18 holes even though he had chances but could't get then to drop. Tiger had a total of 2 bogeys and 2 pars and his last hole which was hole 10 left him with a bogey leaving him 5 shots back from the leader Harris English. But it wasn't just Tiger not being able to makes birdies. Out of the 68 that are competing this week only a few were able to make birdies. Tiger will finish his round today playing 26 holes due to the rain yesterday most of the players could not finish there round. Today Tiger will have to put on a show to be any where close to the top. Tiger Woods has only shot over par three times at this championship.

Lebron james taking on the Thunder

Last night the Miami heat took on the Oklahoma City thunder in a rival game. Russel Westbrook who is the thunders point guard returned last night after undergoing knee surgery. The thunder were 21-4 with Westbrook before his 27 game absence. But this game had nothing to do with Russel Westbrooks return. LeBron James, Dewayne Wade and Chris Bosh aka the "Big Three" combined last night with a outstanding 81 points! LeBron had 33 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals, in my opinion LeBron James will be the best NBA player to ever enter the game when he retires. He can play EVERY position and the court and still dominate no matter who he faces. He is on his way to winning his 5th NBA mvp crown and will be joining just to name a few, Michel Jordon, Bill Russel and Kareem Abdul Jabbar. 

The Heat are only one spot back from the number one spot in the Eastern conference. The pacers have the one spot as of right now. The Pacers have won 7 out of there 8 and 12 and 15 games in the Eastern conference. LeBron James ended up having the go back to the locker room due to an injury. Thunders player Serge Ibaka ended up busting James' nose while he was going up for a slam. LeBron laid on the ground for awhile in pain for the hit and didn't return the rest of the game. My prediction for the NBA finals this year will be the Thunder and Heat and i think the Heat will pull out the championship win.

Last Friday Rajon Rondo returned back to the Boston Celtics after undergoing tearing his ACL. Before they were going to let him play last Friday they put Rondo through some five minute game situations and drills to make sure he is ready to be back playing. After going through all of these warm ups and practices they decided he was ready to play that night. That night during the game Rondo didn't get much playing time the coach decided to give him breaks, plenty of breaks. He didn't score nor did he get the amount of assists he normally gets but he played to his best ability. Through Rondos time in the NBA he has gone through multiple injuries like a dislocated elbow in the 2011 eastern conference playoffs. For the six years Rajon Rondo has played in the NBA he has been one of the best point guards in the game. Rajon Rondo has always been my favorite point guard in the NBA and i hope to see him back to normal playing his best.

Richard Sherman's rant

After the Seattle and 49ners NFC championship game Seattle's corner back Richard Sherman went on a ram page telling national TV that he is the best corner back in the game. Richard Sherman saved the game by preventing the 49ners from scoring and winning the football game. From other reviews people have been saying how Richard Sherman is now considered a thug after the game. But from my view i wouldn't call Sherman a thug. I'm taking is as it was an emotional game no doubt and Sherman was caught up in an amazing play to win the game for Seattle. Do i think Sherman should have went on a rant after the game? no. But i don't see anything wrong with it because they did just win the NFC championship and are going the Super Bowl so i can understand him in a way also. I disagree with people calling him a thug because he hasn't done anything that a thug does as for an example, stealing, drugs, or murder.

Stats have shown even that Richard Sherman is one of the best corner backs in the NFL. He has had plenty have game changers through out his time playing as a pro. Richard Sherman has also had a couple of interceptions and a couple of pick six's. Going to the Super Bowl playing an all time quarter back Peyton Manning, its going to be a great game to watch. Manning is going to have to watch out for Sherman since he is a great corner back and Sherman will have to watch out for Manning's great passing game. Hopefully all of this mess about Sherman will go away because i don't think he deserves it.
